pasta marco polo (spicy sesame linguine)

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 1/2 lb. chicken breast sliced
- 4 whole scallions sliced
- 1/2 lb. bean sprouts
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 12 oz. Spicy Sesame Linguine
- Sauce:
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sherry
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 Tbsp. chili paste with garlic
- 1 Tbsp. Hoisin sauce
- 1 Tbsp. gingerroot minced
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions
Put a large pot of water on to boil for pasta. Combine sauce ingredients. Heat oils over medium high heat and stir fry chicken until it begins to lose raw color. Add scallions, bean sprouts and sauce to chicken. In the meantime cook pasta until tender but firm. Toss pasta with chicken and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
