I have a lot of super simple recipes to feed a large crowd, but this one takes the cake. Everyone loves it. So, here goes:

Monique’s Creamy Cheese Dip

8 oz. cream cheese

8 oz. goat cheese

1 jar of Monique’s Sauce, any flavor.

(Marvelous Marinara, Outrageous Olive and Caper, Luscious Leek and Sundried Tomato, Rustic Roasted Garlic)

Directions:

Mix cheeses together. Mound in an oven-proof baking dish. Cover with one jar of sauce. Put in a 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes until heated through. Serve surrounded with crackers, crostini or baquette slices.

If you are lucky enough to have any dip leftover, it is great on Al Dente’s new Pappardelle Pasta.

Even if you don’t make the dip, it  is the easiest way to transform a jar of Marinara sauce into a delectable main dish. Simply heat  sauce with a little cream cheese and/or goat cheese and you take Marinara to a new level. Easy to build on this base by adding sausage, shrimp, or your favorite veggies.
