This isย my kind of fast food, and a superย simple recipe.ย One of our faithful customers sent in the recipe and photos for aย really easy skillet lasagna using only half a bag of our wide pappardelle noodles and Monique’s Marvelous Marinara sauce.ย There’s no need to take to time to sautรฉ extra vegetables because Monique’s Marvelous Marinara sauce has ripe tomatoes, fresh onions, fresh carrots, extra virgin olive oil, and fresh garlic simmered right in.ย ย This Pappardelle Skillet Lasagnaย almost qualifies for a 3 in 3 recipe.
Pappardelle Skillet Lasagna
1/2 bag Al Dente Pasta Pappardelle
1 25 oz jar Monique’s Marvelous Marinara
1/2 can of artichoke hearts, drained
1/2 cup mushrooms sliced, cooked fresh, or canned (drained)
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Cook Al Dente pastaย according to package directions, for just 3 minutes, and drain.ย In a large skillet or black cast iron skillet add Monique’s Marvelous Marinara, artichoke hearts, and mushrooms, heat through.ย Stir in pasta.ย Salt and pepper to taste.ย Spoon in ricotta cheese, and heat for a fewย minutes, thenย top with parmesan.ย Serve immediately while hot.
