- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 can 100% pure pumpkin puree
- 2 cups heavy cream or half and half
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese plus extra for serving
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1-2 tbsp fresh rosemary or sage chopped
